My journey into the world of iOS development began during my second year at university when I finally saved up for an iPhone 5. Enrolling in an iOS development course, I created my first app, Brushmage—a coloring app for my niece that used OpenCV to process photos, convert them into coloring sheets, and allow for creative painting. This project earned me top marks and opened the door to incredible opportunities in iOS development.
I joined a company named AutSoft, owned by my professors, where I was assigned to develop a mobile banking application for the National Bank of Abu Dhabi. This project was a significant challenge, requiring extensive customization and feature implementation, including support for Right-To-Left languages. Within eight months, I found myself in the UAE, working on-site and gaining invaluable experience in mobile app development.
As I continued to develop my skills, I led the creation of a mobile banking app for K&H Bank, one of Hungary’s top five banks, and played a crucial role in launching First Abu Dhabi Bank’s PayIt iOS application. These experiences honed my ability to deliver high-quality, scalable mobile app solutions under tight deadlines.
In October 2022, I advanced to the role of Regional Technology Manager at AutSoft, a Zenitech Company. I provided strategic technology consultations, guided project architectures, and fostered the growth of my team members. I also taught the same iOS development course that launched my career, passing on my knowledge and passion to the next generation of iOS developers.
In December 2023, I moved to Alberta, Canada, with my family and joined ATB Financial as a Full Stack Software Engineer. This role allowed me to delve deeper into financial technology while continuing to innovate in iOS app development.
Today, as the founder of FarkashTech Solutions Inc., I leverage my extensive experience in iOS app development to help businesses turn their digital visions into reality. My approach emphasizes client involvement, transparent communication, and rapid iteration cycles, ensuring that every project is a true reflection of the client’s unique needs and vision. Even though I now create much more complex applications, my passion remains as strong as it was with the first app I ever developed—Brushmage.
